Rohana Laing

I paint subjects that interest me, often landscapes or people doing things. The locations are both the Westcoast of Canada and other countries. I am attracted to strong colours and shapes, contrasts of light and dark, patterns and textures. If there is a visual equivalent to world music I would like to produce a 'world art'that expresses my response to beautiful places and interesting people.
