Ted Johnson

I spent the first part of my life as a steel fabricator.Working with wood has been a side line that has grown over the years.I have a particular fondness in building the trains,these are from blueprints of the last wood burning locomotives,I use a variety of woods and all parts are hand made.
I am inspired by many things, the beauty of the wood, the art deco era, curves and shapes that form in clouds or rocks on the beach. I am enthusistic and appreciative of live and whenever I start something I am 100% committed. I am happy to show my work an continue each day to explore new challenges in art.
